Vintage Small 2” Clear Coca-cola Can Lighter

The lighter works when butane is put in it but the little red light on the side does not. I was told there is a working red light but I’m not sure how are where. There is 2 batteries in there but I didn’t want to take it apart I didn’t have tools that small. It is a little dirty on the inside.
