Vintage Gas Lighter

I purchased this lighter brand new at a tobacco shop in Dallas around 2004. I bought it because I wanted a Dunhill lighter but couldn’t afford it at the time. I used it for a couple months and then got my coveted Rollagas. Stuck it in a drawer and promptly forgot about it. I just pulled it out and filled it with gas, but it doesn’t seem to want to light. Given that it hasn’t been used in 18 years, I suppose that’s not surprising. Someone more skilled than I should be able to fix it.
