Mcm Vintage 1940s Elgin American Lite-o-matic Lighter

Elgin produced a very glamourous series of cigerette cases and lighters featured often in movies of the 1930-40 period.  this is a very well designed solid brass with gold overlay cigerette case also featuring a lighter.  Inside of the case states Elgin American made in the USA with patent number and below magic action lite-o-matic.  Pictured.  Case has light purse wear on the outside pictured.  The lighter appears to be in full working order, however, we did not put fluid in it due to shipping regulations.  Weighs about 6 ounces.  Measures about 4 3/4 by 3 1/4 inch  less than 1/2 inch thick.
