Sperry Gyroscope Rand Semiconductor Electronic Tubes Zippo Lighter

Up for auction/sale is a vintage NOS Sperry Gyroscope Zippo lighter, which features a stenciled/stamped/engraved image of the elliptical Sperry logo. I have reviewed many Sperry Zippo lighters over the years, but this is the first I've seen the stamped logo without an elliptic oval surrounding the letters on a Zippo.

This Sperry logo was used not only for the Sperry Gyroscope Corporation, but also for their Semiconductor and Electronic/Microwave Tube divisions in the late 1950s through the later 1960s.

This lighter is date coded 1965 with only the single dot to the left of Zippo.

This vintage lighter is in NOS condition, looks nearly perfect and works flawlessly. The only problem with this lighter was a fused flint in the flint chamber, which generally happens when a lighter is presented with fluid but never used. Regardless, I cleared the chamber, replaced the flint, and the lighter works and looks very nearly brand new.

I have described this lighter as best I can, but to augment my description I have provided several high-resolution images from varying angles to allow for a detailed review of quality, condition, and desirability.
