1967 ZENITH Cigarette Lighter-Vietnam War-Unfired/Unused
DIMENSIONS:
Approx. 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/2".
Weight: 1.7 ounces.
DESCRIPTION:
Vintage Vietnam War souvenir cigarette lighter.
By ZENITH. Polished chrome-plated brass case with vertical lines.
Front: engraved image of a woman with a bird perched on her hand.
Back: engraved "Viet Nam - 66-67" along with a play on Psalm 23:4.
Bottom markings: "Windproof - Zenith - For Pipe & Cigarette".
CONDITION:
The flint wheel is frozen, presumably fused to an old flint in the flint chamber. If you intend to use the lighter you will have to carefully bore the old flint out. The flint spring unscrews easily with no issues.
Some light storage-related wear: scattered very superficial scratches and rubs.
Otherwise excellent original unused / unfired condition. No damage. No significant wear.
No dents, bends, splits, dings. No significant scratches or rubs. No corrosion or oxidation. No tool marks.
The hinge is tight with no wobble or other issues.
